The summer has come. Although the weather is not very hot, there were so many cars on the way to the beach. I had to drive at 40Km/h on the quasi-expressway.
In the past two weeks, a lot of people planned to boycott against Carrefour during the May Day Holiday. But up to now, I have not seen any reports about these protests on the Chinese Media. However, I got some reports on western media, which more often than not are negative. They also interviewed some shoppers and a housewife said, "Politics is one thing, but people have to eat". The first sentence of one report is like this, "They came. They expressed patriotic fervor. Then they shopped."

According to another report in China Daily, today protests involving hundreds of people erupted at Carrefour outlets in Changsha, Fuzhou, Beijing, Xi'an, Chongqing, Nanjing, Xiamen, etc. The protesters held national flags and shouted slogans against Carrefour, CNN and "Tibet independence". But most of them are "college students and freshmen in companies".
Unfortunately, when I wrote down these words and returned back to Google, I can't search the related news about Carrefour any more.
